Exhibitions/Exhibition Booths
Star City allows exhibition booths in the Ballroom foyer if your event has booked the entire Grand Harbour Ballroom. Booths are to be a maximum of 3m wide x 2m deep, and construction should be done by a reputable exhibition company.
Should your event only book one section of the Ballroom, then two booths only may be constructed in the pre-function area outside that section of the Ballroom.
Should a separate section of the Ballroom be booked for an exhibition, it will comfortably fit 17 booths (3m x 2m). Star City requires a copy of the exhibition booth plans to submit to our Fire Safety officer at least 14 days prior to the event who reserves the right to alter any setup to ensure all Fire Doors remain clear.
Transport
Star City can organise coaches, limousines or charter boats. Coaches and limousines will collect and drop off clients at the hotel entrance. Charter boats operate from Star City's wharf in Pyrmont Bay, just opposite the building.
Deliveries
All deliveries should be made to the Loading Dock on Jones Bay Road. The delivery should be clearly labelled with your Banquet Coordinator's name, your event name and function room. Please contact your Banquet Coordinator for an A4 size label with all details if required. Deliveries outside of Loading Dock hours (10am and 4pm, Monday to Saturday and 6am to 10am on Sundays) should be made with prior arrangement.
Goods Lifts
Access to the lift is available via the Loading Dock, located on Jones Bay Road. Should access be required outside of Loading Dock hours, prior arrangement is required. The lift capacity is 4375 kg. Door dimensions are 2.4m high and 2.4m wide. The depth of the lift is 5m. It will generally cater for exhibition partitions, a medium size car and most A/V equipment.
